The regular Season 2 is coming to an end with the last week coming up, Week 6, after this week we’ll know which teams will advance to the Grand Finals August 10-12.

More details on the LAN Grand Final, location, format and details will be presented this week but we are ready to share some details on final broadcast times, talents for Week 6 as well as details on how advancement to Season 3 works.
The last week of the regular season will be a bit different as we will start with Americas on July 3rd 8pm EDT/5pm PDT – this to make sure all our friends in the West have time to celebrate 4th of July.
July 4 we will be the final day for CIS and EU and we’ll start with CIS 17:00 CEST / 18:00 MSK and EU 20:30 CEST.
Guiding us all through the three regions will be familiar faces of GLL: Talha, Avnqr & Deman.

Advancement to Season 3
Season 3 will see some changes from Season 2 – everything from amount of teams to point system, but it’s time to already announce how many teams that will advance directly to the new Season in Alpha as well as how many directly advance to GLL Promotionals for Season 3.
CIS:
- 1-12 placement after season automatically advance to GLL Alpha
- 13-36 will compete in GLL Promotionals
- 37-48 will have to re-qualify through the open qualifiers
EU:
- 1-12 placement after season automatically advance to GLL Alpha
- 13-36 will compete in GLL Promotionals
- 37-48 will have to re-qualify through the open qualifiers
Americas:
- 1-12 placement after season automatically advance to GLL Alpha
- 13-36 will compete in GLL Promotionals
- 37-48 will have to re-qualify through the open qualifiers
* Top 8 from GLL Charlie from each region will also compete in GLL Promotionals together with 32 teams that qualify through the Season 3 open qualifiers.
