Knights top the leaderboard after a shaky start in Week 2

The 2nd place team from the Season 2 Grand Finals Pittsburgh Knights come back after placing 10th in Game 1 and  5th in Game 2 with two back to back 1st place finishes in Game 3 & 4 pushing them to the top of the Leaderboard in the European Alpha Division for Week 2.

Despite a strong showing from the team Welcome To South George (WTSG) with 37 kills total they trail behind in 2nd place overall with a 212 point gap between them and 1st place followed by HAVU Gaming in 3rd place with 1206 points putting them 124 points behind WTSG.

OConnell shows how much patience can be key

The mighty hunter Costantino “OConnell” Chiuppani from MoonWolf watches his prey from a short distance in a great display of patience grabbing himself a triple kill on Team Singularity.

In the lower part of the European Alpha Division, two Season 2 Finalists Penta and Moonwolf drop down to Bravo Division. Penta, unfortunately, struggled in their first 3 games placing 16th in two of them and 12th in the third, they started to come back in Game 4 with a 7th place finish but it was too little too late. Joining them in Bravo will be Yikes as well as Elgiganten Gaming.

In the Bravo Division, Season 2 Finalists Team Vitality amass a total of 32 kills topping the leaderboard with not a single placement below 4th moving them back into Alpha Division for Week 3 along with 2nd place team Frescos with 622 points putting them behind Team Vitality by 284 points. The last two Alpha slots will be occupied by Legit Default and Loot Goblins meaning that we will be seeing them on the main channel next week.

Next week we are back with the third week of the GLL Season 3 starting at 17:00 CEST for CIS followed by Europe at 20:30, and lastly we end it with Americas at 01:00 CEST.
